Surviving lockdown as a photographer

This year has seen the world turned upside down by a global pandemic, making travel photography tough, perhaps even unethical. And with Rachael’s 89-year old mum to take care of, too, we decided that all photography trips were off the agenda this summer.

So we hid away in the North Buckinghamshire countryside. I worked through a sizeable backlog of images. We grew vegetables and led the good life. But that’s not to say I didn’t find a few photo opportunities along the way. Here are a just a few shots from this summer…
